About SHDHS

South Huron District High School in Exeter, home of the Panthers, has been the community high school of Southern Huron County since 1949. SHDHS currently has over 600 students in Grades 7 to 12. Our size allows students to have a sense of family while offering them a breadth of programming so each student can follow their chosen pathway.

South Huron provides a safe, supportive, and culturally relevant atmosphere in which to learn and grow. We aim to engage, inspire, and innovate. We strive to teach our students to be responsible members of the community and to respect the rights and freedoms of others. We want our students to leave our school being able to say: I am prepared. I am well. I am engaged.
